The cat in KV35 is a representation of a god who is associated with the underworld and the protection of Osiris. The cat is depicted with the ears of a feline and the body of a human, holding a knife in his hand. He is shown beheading the enemies of Osiris, who are bound and kneeling before him.
The cat god is part of a scene that illustrates the seventh hour of the Amduat, which is a book of the underworld that describes the journey of the sun god through the twelve hours of the night.
The scene is located on the front wall of the upper section of the burial chamber of Amenhotep II, who was a pharaoh of the 18th dynasty and the original owner of KV35
